The Next Generation Filtration System helps to resolve these issues:

Problem: Sludge
Over time contaminants, moisture, oxidation, and long-term use will overstress your engine's oil. It will begin to break down into a gel that sticks to your engine parts. This condition can cause an engine to lose oil pressure, get lower fuel mileage, and basically wear out.

Solution:
The Conserver by-pass purification system will reduce this problem dramatically. Our Conserver systems not only filter out 99.98% of particles, but they also remove water-causing sludge formations.

Problem: Water
Moisture is one of the most devastating enemies of engine oil. Water interacts with additives leaving sludge. Water also changes the chemistry of the additive.

Solution:
The Conserver by-pass purification system drastically reduces the water content in your engine oil. Moisture is removed at the rate of 1/2 ounce to 2 ounces per hour depending on the size of the unit. By keeping water out of oil, lubricant viscosity is maintained, along with load-carrying ability. Surface to surface contact of vital parts is non-existent, reducing component wear in the engine.

Problem: Contaminants
Contaminants can cause the oil base to oxidize. Once oxidization occurs, engines can be irreversibly damaged if the oil is not changed. According to ISO (International Standard Organization) codes, the governing ISO standard, ISO 4406, establishes a two-factor code (Y/Z) to determine how clean your oil is. Y represents the number of particles larger than 5 microns and Z stands for the number of particles larger than 15 microns. The Y and Z levels can indicate presence of contaminants that cause rapid wear and potential early failure of the engine.

Solution:
The Conserver by-pass purification system continuously cleans the oil, by removing 99.98% of the contaminating particles, allowing for better performance and lower operating costs. A properly functioning Conserver pruification system is guaranteed to keep the Y & Z levels within ISO standards. Filter media is a microglass rated at 99.98% efficiency.

Problem: Cost
The cost of oil climbs almost daily. So does the cost of labor to change oil on a regular basis and make the repairs caused by dirty oil. Industry experts predict that oil prices will continue to rise, making it imperative that either new sources be found or new ways of conserving oil be developed.

Solution:
With the Conserver by-pass filtration system, you not only save on replacement oil and full flow filters, but you can glean the profits of higher performance, higher productivity, lower operating costs, and longer engine life. The Conserver by-pass and the full flow-filter should be changed approximately every 80,000 miles or 2000 hrs, whichever comes first, depending on service and type of engine. For your convenience, we are offering both the full flow filter and the Conserver filter as a set designed for your particular engine application.

With the Conserver systems, we expect up to 5% fuel savings due to clean, dry oil for lubrication; no scratches on the rings and cylinder walls adds up to virtually no oil used except for the small amount added to replace that which was taken out when changing the Conserver filter.

Problem: Waste of Natural Resources
Motor oil is used on a massive scale, reducing our store of this non-renewable natural resource. Further, a great deal of used oil is improperly disposed of each year thus polluting soil and water.

Solution:
The Conserver purification systems will extend motor oil through fewer oil changes. Expectations are that a significant extension of the life of the oil will not only reduce the consumption of oil but therefore equally reduce the disposal of waste oil. Our products were designed to assist in the conservation of our natural resources.
